The Alhambra Educational Foundation is the official fundraising partner of the Alhambra Unified School District, and has given more than $2.8 million to benefit our schools and students since 1993. We are the only non-profit that raises funds to benefit all AUSD schools and every student. The AEF is a California 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The tax ID is 95-4429310. Donations to AEF are tax-deductible to the full extent of applicable Federal and State tax laws. AEF is a nonprofit that relies on your tax-deductible donations to help support all AUSD schools and students. The Foundation submits financial grant request to numerous private foundations who support public education and community service.

  • AEF General Fund

    The Alhambra Educational Foundation (AEF) is the primary fundraising partner of the Alhambra Unified School District (AUSD) and supports all schools and students in the district. Our goal is to fund 6th grade Outdoor Science Camp, TK-3rd grade Reading is Fundamental (RIF), and the K-12 Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA).

  • Payroll Deduction Form

    The Payroll Deduction Program is the easiest and most effective way to give a tax-deductible donation through an automatic payroll contribution. The support from AUSD’s faculty and staff makes an invaluable difference and benefits all AUSD students in the district.

Our Foundation.

The Foundation raises money by accepting tax-deductible donations from our parents and community members, submitting grants to private foundations, from proceeds from our K-8 Summer Academy and High School Summer School, and from our fun community-wide events: the 16th Annual Service to Education Awards Gala (dinner, dancing, great food and drinks held at Los Angeles/San Gabriel Hilton — a fun, community celebration of AUSD schools and our community) and the Taste of Alhambra (street party held on Second Street in Alhambra).

Because of these fundraising activities and others, AEF has been able to donate over $300,000 annually to the district to support our enrichment programs.

 

  • Endowments and trusts

    The Foundation encourages friends to consider AEF when planning endowments and trusts.

  • Matching Gifts

    Many companies support AEF by matching the individual donations of their employees. We gratefully receive matching gifts from Apple, Southern California Edison, Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, Boeing, The Capital Group, Toyota, & many others.

    Because of these fundraising activities and others, AEF has been able to donate over $300,000 annually to the district to support our enrichment programs.

  • Mail Solicitation of Donation

    AEF solicits funds from the community through a mailing to businesses, school parents, school staff, retirees, and community organizations.

  • AUSD Teachers & Staff

    AUSD employees can support our schools and students with the AEF/AUSD Payroll Deduction program.  All AUSD employees who make a donation to AEF or participate in the payroll deduction program will receive a “Thank You” sign for their classroom or office.  Payroll deduction form is attached, please send to AEF at the District office.
