AEF was notified last month from the San Gabriel Valley News Group Reader's Choice Awards that we were voted #1 Favorite Non Profit Organization. I was so surprised to hear this wonderful news, especially because no one in our office even knew about the award or how we received it. I want to thank everyone who voted for AEF and we will continue to work hard everyday to enrich the lives of all students in the Alhambra USD.
Our honorees have been announced for the 17th Annual "Service to Education" Gala on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Los Angeles/San Gabriel Hilton. We are very excited for this year's selection of community minded individuals, groups and business who give back to education. Please mark your calendar for this fun and exciting evening.
SAVE THE DATE - Shopping Extravaganza is around the corner at the Citadel Outlets. This is a great day to start your Christmas shopping early since anyone who purchases a ticket receives extra discounts on top of already marked down pricing. AEF receives $25 for every ticket sold as well as additional money from the raffle tickets sold if we have a minimum of 100 shoppers who attend the event. Pumpkin Run 2023 will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2023 in Downtown Alhambra. This will be the 10th Anniversary for the run and we hope you will join us for a great morning to run or walk on Main Street and then enjoy the City of Alhambra's Harvest Festival afterwards.
