With only three months left in this school year, those of you with school-age children may be wondering what opportunities are available for your children during the summer. Consider AEF Summer School Academy for elementary students at Ynez School and the AEF Enrichment Program at San Gabriel High School for high school students. Registration begins on Monday, March 13th at 8:00 a.m. Please review our summer school catalog and select courses that will best meet the needs of your child. Our programs are taught by credentialed teachers and use curriculum that is accepted and approved by Alhambra USD and neighboring school districts.
Come out on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Alhambra Park for the 4th Annual "Read Across America" community event sponsored by the Alhambra Teachers Association. AEF is honored to be a participant at this great event that celebrates and encourages reading. This ATA sponsored event will include reading stations and reading activities where children can collect passport stamps that can be redeemed for free books they can take home with them. The event is from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Alhambra Park. Hope to see you there!
AEF will be moving the "Service to Education" Gala to September 2023. With promotions, graduations and end of year activities in May, the committee felt the event would be a great way to start a new school year by celebrating the wonderful people in the community who make an impact on our children's education. More information will be shared next month with a date and location about this fun evening for all to attend.
