It has been over a month since school began...new teacher, new school for some, new grade level and new friends go hand in hand with the changes, jitters and joy that are part of every new school year for our children. It is always heartwarming to see Alhambra USD staff, teachers, administrators, and volunteers welcome students with big smiles and enthusiasm to ease the first day of school nerves. As an involved AUSD volunteer and community member for over 50 years, I want to thank all the employees for what appeared to be a very successful and smooth opening day. It can be stressful for families and staff alike, and AUSD's professionalism and genuine care is appreciated not only on the first day but throughout the year - THANK YOU! |

We have a couple of events I would like you to support over the next couple of months. Coming up this Saturday, September 24th is the 17th Annual Shopping Extravaganza at the Citadel Outdoor Mall in Commerce, CA. Alhambra Unified School District (AUSD) , and has given more than $3.3 million to benefit our schools and students since 1993. We are the only non-profit that raises funds to benefit all AUSD schools and every student.
